What is Slade Goods?
Slade Goods is a ceramic jewelry company started in 2016 by two besties since high school, Carly and Meghan. We make playful, artful pieces to elevate the everyday.

Are your pieces handmade?
Yes! Every Slade Goods piece is handmade from start to finish. We sculpt each one from either porcelain or terracotta clay, then fire it twice — first in a bisque firing to turn the clay into ceramic, and again after it's hand-glazed to create a durable, glossy surface. Select pieces are finished with a touch of 22K gold luster, requiring a third firing to fuse the gold to the surface.

Where are you located?
We work from two home studios — one on the West Coast and one on the East. This lets us bring a little of both worlds into every collection.

Why is there an order minimum? Great question! Because ceramic jewelry is delicate and shipping requires extra care (and cost), we’ve set an order minimum to help keep things fair and sustainable. We absorb a portion of the packaging and shipping costs ourselves — having a minimum helps us continue offering thoughtful, handmade pieces without cutting corners on quality or presentation.

How do I care for ceramic jewelry?
Ceramic is strong but not unbreakable — treat your jewelry like the art it is. Avoid dropping and store it safely when not in use. Gently wipe with a soft cloth to clean.

Do you take custom orders?
Sometimes! We love collaborating when our schedule allows. Drop us a message through our contact form with your idea, and we’ll let you know if we can make the magic happen.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship across North America and select international destinations. If you don’t see your country at checkout, send us a message and we’ll see what we can do!

*To our lovely American neighbours, currently the de minimis exemption is still in place so orders under $800 will not be tariffed but it changes every day so best to look for updated info.

How long will my order take to ship?
1-2 weeks depending on if we have your pieces in stock or if we need to make a fresh batch. If there’s a delay (like during a product launch or holiday rush), we’ll keep you posted!

Is your packaging eco-friendly?
We do our best to use sustainable materials — from compostable packing peanuts to recycled boxes. We also love to reuse packing materials that are sent to us so you might get some bubble wrap that is on its second journey.

What’s your return policy?
Due to the handmade nature of our work, we don’t accept returns. But if something arrives damaged or you have a concern, please reach out within 7 days and we’ll make it right.

Do you offer wholesale?
Yes! We love partnering with shops that share our values and aesthetic. Our jewelry is handmade in small batches, so we take on a limited number of wholesale accounts each season. Please reach out to us to inquire 😊

How do I apply to be a stockist?
Send us an email at SladeGoods@gmail.com or use our contact form to reach out and tell us a bit about your shop. We'll get back to you within a week!

What’s your order minimum?
Our opening order minimum is $250, with a reorder minimum of $150. Once you’ve reached out, we will give you a special code to order from our website at wholesale prices or we can send you an invoice.

Do you offer exclusivity?
We offer location-based exclusivity on a case-by-case basis. If you're interested in being our only stockist in your area, just ask — we’re happy to chat.

What’s the turnaround time for wholesale orders?
Lead times are usually 2–5 weeks depending on order size and studio schedule. We’ll always keep you in the loop and let you know the estimated ship date before you finalize. If we have it in stock it can be much quicker.

Can I request specific pieces or colors?
Definitely, we love to collab! You can choose from our current offerings or request a curated selection. We’re also open to small customizations for stockists, depending on the collection and timeline.
